I am two years old and just a big baby. I love being on the couch/bed whenever my dad is. Everyday I greet him at the door and then run to get my toys for him! Sometimes I make a mess when I eat, especially if I try to bark with food in my mouth. In a house with three other dogs I am almost the slowest. The beagel that looks like a sausage is the only other dog I can beat in a race. I know a few tricks, I can: speak when asked, shake paws right, or left when asked, and I can reindeer! I am the only dog who paws at the air when on my side or back when dad says!! I like to meet people and other dogs, but they always back away thinking I am vicious. :( All in all I am a good boy who doesn't have a care in the world!

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

I had a golden retriever before I got Ivan. His name was Mikey. I bred his mother with another golden and kept him. When he was three years old he pushed open the side door and ran off. I found him later, but tragically he had been hit by a car and died. For two years I didn't have a dog of my own, but slowly I started thinking of getting another one. I wanted a larger dog who I could play rough with. I decided after months of research that I would get a rottweiler. However, the shelters around here didn't have any and the cheapest breeder I could find was selling pups for a thousand dollars per male. Then one day I was reading the paper and saw an ad for AKC rottie pups for only four hundred dollars! I called the breeder and they said they had four left. I said I would call back the next day if I was still interested. The next day I called back and they said they only had two brothers left. I told my mom that I was going to get one of them and I was going to go look at them that night. After visiting with the two pups I went home and wrote a check for four hundred dollars. The next day I went back and picked up Ivan!

I dont really like baths all that much, and I really dont like getting scolded when I find great stuff in the garbage/dad's laundry basket.

Toys that I can't break are my favorite, but anything that squeaks is awesome!

My Favorite Treats:

Ice cubes, tomatos, cucumbers, mushrooms, watermelon, milk bones, pretty much any people food. But I dont like pickles or olives!!

Downtown and along the boardwalk!

Dad's truck!

Whatever my dad listens to is fine with me. But I really dont listen that much, I have better things to do like stick my head out of the window of the truck!
