Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?: Wally was in a basket of kittens being given away in front of Walmart one day. I was two steps away when a voice said "wouldn't you like a kitten?". I turned aound and saw a little white kitten with blue eyes and that was that. My family came up with Walmart Wally and Wally it has been.
Kinsey Milhone is the name of a detective in a series I really enjoy reading by Sue Grafton. Since cats are so curious I thought Kinsey would suit this little rescue kitten. She has been a great friend and companion for Wally.
With a house full of animals, my daughter has a cat also, and we have two birds I have not added on here yet. I thought we had no more room for more pets. My poor husband was asked if he would like a 7 month old lab mix puppy. He took a look at her and brought her home, unbeknownst to me! I wasn't sure how the cats would take to Ginger but they are all getting along fine and she is a great dog. She has a very sweet temperment, just a big silly girl!

DNA results are in!!!!!!!!!!!

Curiosity was getting to me soooo...... I ordered a DNA kit and we tested Ginger. We knew her parents were a Chocolate Lab and a yellow lab. The results showed 75% or more lab DNA and 10-19% Austrailian Shepherd DNA! Now that we know her looks seem obvious but before we thought maybe this, maybe that, everyone had an idea. To us she is still a Chocolate Retriever!
