Midnight, my rabbit of five years, passed away a few weeks ago. I cried and cried and cried.

My dog is a great "watchdog" from afar, but she's really a chicken. She's full of fun and friendliness. My horse isn't nearly as friendly, but we respect each other. He'd prefer food over me, which can get on my nerves a lot, but we're slowly building a bond. Louie is a one-person cat (thankfully I'm that person!) and she loves cuddling. Delilah, well, we don't know much since she arrived just a few weeks ago as a stray. Kirby is friendly and doesn't mind me handling him. Shawnie is rather... wild... Velvet is more timid, but she's aging.

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

The arrival of my dog, rabbits, and hamster were all planned. My horse was planned for my parents, but a total surprise for me. I recieved him for my birthday and they wanted to keep it secret, so they told me that the pony I normally rode had injured himself and so I needed to ride him for a vet to determine what was wrong. It worked. Years before, we'd had a friend call asking if we wanted a cat. That same day, we went and picked Louie up. Delilah just appeared.

Likes:

Sadie loves playing and cuddling. When you sit down, she'll crawl onto your lap- and she's probably 50 pounds! Louie also enjoys cuddling. Delilah likes food. Kirby likes annoying me whenever possible. Shawnie likes pretending she's terrified. Velvet likes eating. Shadow likes food and being the boss of the pasture.

Pet-Peeves:

Louie and Delilah hate each other! Thankfully, they're both declawed. Shawnie hates being touched, and so does Shadow. Sadie doesn't really have anything that bugs her, except for her PetSafe collar when it starts beeping. Kirby hates being woken up.

Sadie is called "Boo-Boo" sometimes. I gave her the name.

Sadie loves her tug-of-war rope toy. Louie dislikes toys. Kirby loves his block.

Shadow loves all horse treats and Sadie loves cat food. Louie enjoys her specially made treats, too.

Sadie loves walks down a neighboring subdivision.

Shadow loves trail rides.

My Best Pet Tricks:

Sadie jumps up and gives real hugs. She doesn't try biting but just rests her paws on your shoulders or around your waist. Louie will "wave" in order to get a treat.
