My second, third, and fourth California Poppy flowers sitting on a bunch of its green leaf petals.

There's at least five green buds on this bunch that have yet to open; and their pictures are coming! :-) I've noticed that California Poppies act pretty much like Sunflowers do: they turn their open cups towards the sun and extend their petals when the rays hit them, but close their petals when they are no longer in the path of the rays. Did anyone else know that? I'll be sure to post pictures of when they have their petals closed for you all to see what I mean.
