Mystery growl

[Winter's Morning]

I used to tell people this story all the time when I was younger. When I was about fourteen I fixed myself two PB&J andwiches, but could only finish one and a half, so I took the other half onto the back patio for my dog, Sophie. (The patio was almost and entire story off the ground and had stairs to the yard on one side.) Sophie liked to jump for treats, so I held the sandwich up high until she got it, but for some reason, she was always afraid I was going to take it from her, so she ran down the stairs with it. (At this point, I couldn't see her.) After just a few seconds, I hear Sophie softly growling. So I ran down the stairs to find out whats up, and there sits my pet chicken with peanut butter and jelly all over her beak! From that point on, Sophie always had to share her treats with the chicken. :)
