I feed my dog Blue Buffalo.

This last bag was Simple Food Solutions by Wellness. We're about to change to an even more allergen-free food for sensitive skin, sensitive tummy, and allergies: Evo - - thanks to Jacque! I think I will mix the 2 for the first week or so, for a smoother transition on another change.

The people at the pet store said that pet owners with pets that have allergies, swear by this food. They claim it's as good as prescription allergen-free. It's a little pricey, but not too bad with a small dog like Jazzi. She only weighs 16-17 pounds, and not a huge eater at all - - healthy eater though. AND, I was told the prescription brand is twice the price of Evo.

Great answers for both of you! I'm glad to see that there are other people out there who know about TRUE quality/premium foods. Pepper (mum's Miniature Schnauzer) is fed foods like Blue Buffalo's Blue Wilderness, Innova Evo Reduced Fat, etc. My new German Shepherd puppy, Titan, is currently on Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy food as a transition until I can get him some Large Breed Puppy Orijen. I'm looking to get Pepper some Orijen Fresh Fish soon.

Yes, Bragger, the vet form is at least twice what Innova is because most vets are looking to line their billfolds. Most vet food products are made by Purina anyway, and are full of grains, by-products and the allergen offenders themselves: corn, wheat, soy. Evo is completely grain free! :D

I have many dogs so I buy one 50lb bag of dog chow and mix it with a 50lb bag of sportmix.
My cat gets meow mix and i better not even think about bringing home anything else! lol
