birds off food i cant make him eat anything please help

Hello ive got a problem with a Galah we had a snake go into his cage about two months ago it never bite him but he's gone funny and wont eat as a side issue because he wont eat we've had to start cutting his beak because he's not wearing it down by himself all he'll pick at is peanuts ive tryed all i can think of, he's lost a fair bit of weight, please please can someone help im running out of ideas to help him all the vet says is he wont eat because his beaks to long but we've had to cut it quiet often

Dave, I seriously advise you to get another Vet. This is serious and must be attended to. I wish I knew what would help, but unfortunately I do not.
