A Very Sad Message from Tilly, Saying Goodbye to some friends

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while, but so much has happened in the last couple of weeks and I have to admit that I'm the saddest Tilly in the world right now. It all began three Saturdays ago on the way back from training. Me, Dylan, Sheba and Xuxa were in the back of the car, as usual, the others all lying down and me sanding up looking out of the window as I like to do. Suddenly, Xuxa jumped up and attacked me, sinking her teeth into my leg and that hurt a lot. then she bit my mouth, and there was a lot of blood. I screamed of course and Harry stopped the car, got me away from her and put me on the back seat with the children till we got home. It was a hot day and we all thought that perhaps the heat had 'got' to Xuxa, so after telling her off, Harry hoped that would be the end of the matter. The next day, though, she did it again, and Harry took the painful decision to take Xuxa back to her original owners, who took her back, but who are now looking for another home for her. Poor Xuxa, we all thought she'd be so happy here, but Harry says we couldn't take the chance of her doing something similar to me or anyone else.
That wasn't the end of our recent nightmare though, as I have to report that Bobby, Sally, and little Mimi have all gone too! Harry and the family went out to a barbecue and left me to recover from my injuries in the office, with the others downstairs as usual, but they left the big windows in the kitchen open for fresh air for the pack. Maybe the others missed me or something, but when Harry got home his neighbours said the dogs (that's us) had been barking and howling non-stop all the time the family had been out. Now, we NEVER do that, but on this occasion, we had done, and everyone around was very angry. Harry and Mum were very upset and din;t want to upset the neighbours, so they took the sad decision to re-home some of the loudest barkers in the pack, and Bobby, Sally and Mimi had to go. Bobby and Sally have gone to live with lovely elderly couple, who love them to bits. Harry has been to their new home and they are so very happy and are being spoiled rotten, so he is happy for them. Mimi went back to the lady who rescued her in the first place and now lives with her and her dog, called Molly and is also very happy.
The only thing is, Harry and Mum are so very sad and depressed to have let them go, especially little Mimi, who they miss terribly and now wish they hadn't let her go. All of us doggies also miss out little friends and Dexter especially misses Sally, who he used to sleep with every night. Little Cassie misses Sally and Mimi who were her best friends and chief playing companions, and I must say I miss Bobby who used to sleep with me every night.
Will we get over this? My pack has shrunk and we are all very unhappy, but I hope we won't have to say goodbye to any more of our friends in the future.
There have been so many tears and the children of course, have been devastated to have lost four of their pets, in such a short space of time. Harry and Mum were going to let Molly go too, but changed their minds, for which we are all so grateful. They just couldn't bear to see any more of us leave after all their hard work and devotion in rescuing us all, and all the love they give to us.
So, that's it folks. Now you know why I've been so quiet lately and why I'm the saddest little Tilly in the world.
I hope my next post will be a happier one, but, for now, I just want to say a big 'Be Happy' to Xuxa, Bobby, Sally and Mimi in their new homes. We all miss you and wish you well for the future, my lovely little friends.
