About a year ago my Sassie tore a cruciate ligament in her hind leg, the vet wanted to do surgery but the cost would have been $3,000.00, I opted for keeping her still and not allowing her to run around. Sassie recovered from this and then tore the cruciate in her other leg, more quiet time and pain meds, I thought it would end up that she would have surgery on both legs.
