Greyhounds everywhere in troubel. China wants a racing industry in their republic!

 Dear all I am writing to you at this point in time to inform you of the latest development of greyhound racing whilst its in decline in other places in this world the Chinese have now got the idea that they want greyhound racing in China. This must be prevented at all costs because there is no welfare for animals in China as you all know they eat dogs in China and it is a well known fact that they torture them to death in order to tenderise the meat. Greyhounds are already suffering in other Asian countries such as Korea they are raced to near death tortured and then sold as choice meats for human consumption.This must not be allowed to happen to more greyhounds. The sources of this information is grey2kusa as well as ARAN. There are emailadresses to write protest letters to ect there is a petition online on facebook merely look at my profile and you will find a link to it. my profile name is Lisbeth Mønsted Larsen. I know you might be opposed to hearing about greyhounds but this needs to be exposed and it needs to get out to every nook and cranny of this world this must be prevented the greyhounds do not need to pay the price of greed and exploitation more than they do now. No doubt they will suffer far worse than they have previously done so if we can prevent this from happening I think we should.

This is horrible news.  I will sign the petition and send letters.  I am so tired of this cruelty and it is very frustrating when it seems like nobody cares.  There must be protections for these dogs and I will do everything in my power to help acheive this.  Please let me know of anything else I can do.

Thanks Kathi. tell others about their plight protest at every turn is about all we can do. You are a good friend and knowing you have come to love the greyhounds as much as you do is wonderful and because of that you are becomming a great greyhound advocate. Connor is having his mad five minutes playing with a tennis ball snorting and showing teeth jumping about like a mad thing. He realy makes me laugh.

China would do everything to extermine these wonderful beings! They act like savage people, and it makes me sick! Now they want an industry of racing them? Are they done with eating dog meat? How sick are they?

Far from it Marina they consume about two million dogs pr year as well as cats so what chance has the Irish greyhounds have if the racing industry is iniciated in China?
