So very sad - - nice awareness video Schnauzer, and amazing how these frogs communicate. I am very happy that you have shared this with PetBrags. After viewing your video, I'd like to add an awareness statement or two of my own.
THE GOLDEN FROG is incredibly rare. They have been removed from the wild to captivity. This is in an effort to save them from this horrible fungal disease, and complete extinction.

Thanks Bragger. This clip came from the BBC series Life in Cold Blood. I love the way those frogs communicate... To me it's a sad reminder of the extinct Golden Toad. I remember when that happened somewhere around 1996 in Costa Rica. The same thing happened to them.

Do they still exist in captivity?

So far. Hopefully they will be able to breed in captivity. If not, they will be lost.
