Nice that you have got your first little gerbil. They are really nice and kind animals and very curious. They are more active than hamsters. Gerbils are active in the days too. i love my little gerbil! she's (yes its a girl, i checked) so hyper and happy to see me all the time its really funny. Im looking into getting another gerbil to keep her company but i dont know how to go about introducing them... I think i have a name for her too, i'm thinking Zafira which is spanish for sapphire, what do you think?

Yes, it can be a little difficult to put 2 gerbils together. Put them together in a neutral place, not in your first gerbils cage. I wish you good luck. Paola

yup im soon going to get another gerbil and am a little worried about the introduction. What i think i'm going to do is introduce them is my bathtub (with the plug in lol) and let them run around and watch for any signs of aggression. then clean out the tank and add lots of hay and places to hid just incase ;)
