Brita. She wasn't actually my own pet. She was a wolf that I adopted from a wolf sanctuary. I sent money every year to help with her care. They sent me pictures of her. She was beautiful. She passed away March 13, 2008. I never met her, but I loved her anway.

My son goes up for his first at bat of the season. The bases are loaded. He swings... strikes out. He swings again, strikes out. The coaches are yelling, "Brandon, don't swing at every ball. Wait for the right one." The third ball is thrown, he swings... BOOOOOOOM! It flys waaaaaay out into the outfield. I thought it was going to go over the fence, but it didn't. He made it to first base and brought home two of his team mates.
