My Rope Fish
Also called Snake Fish (you can see why), Reed Fish, Dragon Fish, etc. You can't tell what it looks like well enough, but it sure is neat. It is a true fish, not an eel, even though it has little tubes for nostrils. This fish is prehistoric and dates back to the dinosaurs. It is a female because there are 10 tiny dorsal fins. A male would have 11-12.

It isn't a Loach, though I do know what you're talking about. This little fish is about 12in long and maybe 1in around... If you Google them and get a better quality picture you can see that they are lobefins which is a very ancient group of fish along with Coelecanth, Lung Fish and the like. Also, the scales are very tough and look snake-like. My video just makes it really hard to tell. I hope I can get a better picture of her. She's a cute little thing when peeping from her log!
