Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Yesterday was my 9th Birthday! It didn't start out a very good day. Mommy was trying to do some work outside, and she found like a billion ants by the garage! Luckily, the garage is far away from the house. But she needed to kill them. So she had to use some buggy spray. So she wouldn't let me come outside and chase my bunnies. I was so mad. Grandma came home last week (that makes me a very happy puppy!) and she was outside too. I was barking and barking and barking, and they just ignored me! Grrr. But then, when they were done, they came inside and we had a very special lunch. Mommy let me have some lamb, which is my very favoritest thing! Mmm, it was soooo good.

Then we went to my cousin Karen's pool. Well, she manages the pool, and she lets me come to visit when there's no one around. When I was just 3 months old, I visited, and I didn't know that the pool was water. I cut a corner chasing some life guards, and I fell in! I don't like water anymore. But April (the lifeguard) pulled me to safety! Anyway, after the visiting, mommy said I had to get a bath. YUCK! I don't like baths. But she said we were going somewhere else, and I couldn't go all stinky. Karen gave me a bag of fun stuff for my birthday too! New toys, treats, I am soooo lucky!

After the bath, we went to watch cousin Mikey's baseball game! I feel like such a rockstar when we go. They are so many little kiddies that all want to pet me and let me give them kisses! I love to go there! I made all kinds of new friends, and got to sit with Grandma, Karen, and Michelle and Mason. I like Mason. I like to give him kisses! So even though I couldn't play in the morning outside, the rest of my day was lots of fun!
