DOGGIE BREATH TAMER

3 Tablespoons Crisco oil

1 med. Egg

1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves (chopped)

1/2 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

2/3 cup Milk

2 cups Brown Rice Flour

1. Combine oil, egg, mint, parsley, and milk. Whisk together.

2. Blend in flour slowly and beat until stiff dough is formed.

3. Place dough on floured surface and roll out to about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.

4. Cut into shapes using desired cookie cutter and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Bake at 350* for 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.

(*Healthy note: parsley is a natural breath freshener and the mint aids in digestion)

FIDO'S Favorite

2 cups whole wheat flour

1cup oatmeal

2 cloves of Garlic (minced)

2 Tablespoons Olive oil

1 cup beef or chicken stock

1. Blend wheat flour,oatmeal,and garlic together.

2. Add oil and slowly stir in beef stock to form a stiff dough.

3. Place dough on floured surface and roll out to to about 1/2 inch thick.

4. Cut into shapes with cookie cutter and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Bake at 375* for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

( Healthy note: fresh garlic contains allicin ,which is a natural antibiotic and antifungal. Garlic has also been reported to be a natural help in repelling fleas.)
