This is my chinchilla Chili.

Tiger, the family dog, is no longer with us. Everyone thought he was hit by a car at first, because he was found collapsed by the road. Apparently a blood clot came loose in his body and traveled to his back end paralyzing him, mean while he struggled to breathe because of a heart murmur. There really wasn't anything that could be done; especially considering how old he was, so he was put down. *Sigh* I guess Minion is the lady of the house now. She's my little girl. I spent all day yesterday taking photos of Max! Surprisingly he actually stayed still long enough for me to take them! LOL! :)

Minion checked out fine with the vet, with the exception that they found a parasite in her stool, so today we came home with some medications. My poor little Minion, I knew something was causing her loose bowl movements, and I noticed when she had accidents, she looked like she had no control over it, now I know why. The vet wasn't too concerned, so at least I feel safe knowing it's nothing severe. We go back at the end of the month to follow up on her vaccinations. The vet also noticed she has… Continue

Minion has officially been here 1 week. Time flew by quick. Tomorrow is her first appointment with the vet, I got her little stool sample ready, which I'm glad we're going because she's been really soft and runny lately. Yea I know you all wanted to know that, ahah. She is getting along great with everyone, even my parents' older dog Tiger (he's a 13 year old Boxer), who actually tries to avoid her because he's so old and just wants peace and quiet, yet all Minion wants to do is play with him.… Continue

Out and about. Took a pic a min ago. SOOOOOO CUTE! =}

Yucky! It's too hot outside. I don't like this weather. I wish it would get cold and snow. I love snow. Besides, if it stays too hot, mommy will make me get a haircut. I don't like to get haircuts. I have a really special groomer, Jessie. She's really nice, but I just don't like to go. There's other dogs there, and they make so much noise! I wish Jessie would just groom me! All day! Hee hee.

Today i finally got a gerbil which i was waiting to get for several weeks, I still need to find a name for him.. or her, i dont know yet, lol. its all brown with red eyes, i'll have to get a pic soon to show everyone but i think he/she's really cool and should be fun and interesting at the same time.

I havent had a gerbil before so i dont know wat to expect, i'm thinking they're like hamsters but a little more active i hope... I'll have to read up on them. Oww i'm so excited, lol.

Ha ha ha ha. Yes, another blog post that starts with laughter. What can I say, I like to laugh. I just adopted a virtual pet. His name is Oinkie McSqueeliepants. After putting him on my profile I noticed that he looks amazingly like a pink Hailey. Look at my profile pic and tell me that doesn't look like Oinkie McSqueeliepants. I have, on occasion, mentioned to my hubby that Hailey kind of looks like a little pig. The way her muzzle is all bunched up, it kind of reminds me of a little piggy… Continue

Ha ha ha ha. We finally had to go and buy Comet her new crate. The little one had been fine all this time. All of a sudden on Saturday morning she could't sit up in it. AHHHH!!

We had been checking out prices but had held off till we could get a deal. We went into Belleville on word from the sales girl i phoned that there was a huge crate for only $50. Oh what a wonderful day. Today was grandma's birthday. I made her a card (with mommy's help, my paws are too fat for the keys!) and gave her lots of birthday licks! Tonight we're having snuggle time on the couch. I love snuggle time.

My unknown animal didn't come back. Mommy is just calling it the "dingo" now. But we did get a racoon visitor. And the deer are back down by the firehouse. We can tell by what they leave behind. They don't pick up like mommy does. I guess they don't have…

Only one accident today, but I think it was due to all the excitement from the children my mother and I babysit together. I was glad to see her so excited to play with them. After a while she had enough and went about her own business. She slept a lot durning the afternoon, but of course later this evening she was a fiesty girl.
