Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

My family and I were out eating dinner and we talked about getting a hamster. I've been dying to get a pet since I was six years old. After we ate dinner, my parents agreed and we walked to the nearby pet store. We chose a cute 7-month old, golden syrian hamster. I instantly fell in love. We bought him and took him home. He is the cutest thing ever. He's been to MANY places and has met a lot of people. I'm sure he's got a lot to tell his friends. :)
