We recently adopted a rescued double dapple doxie. She was born without eyes and is completely deaf. Her name is Hope and she gets along great with the rest of the pack...except for the cat. For some reason, she always tries to "hunt" her. Hope had never been around cats before we adopted her.
My husband and I have tried using a water bottle to squirt her when she attempts to bother the cat. We even bought a $200 vibration only collar, but she ignores the vibration (which is set at the highest level.
We love Hope and our cat Miracle and really want to help Hope learn that Miracle is family, not a snack. Any suggestions?
