Please keep my Sassafras in your prayers....

My Sassafras has a very bad case of pancreatitis and needs our prayers. Cause is unknown as she does NOT get table food. She is fighting VERY hard but after 5 days still not improving. My heart is breaking for her. Her pancreas is at least 9 times larger than it should be and her tummy is very inflamed. Praying the meds start healing her soon before damage to her kidneys and liver sets in. :(

UPDATE. 10/25... Just had to rush Sass back to the hospital...she is having a setback...2 steps forward,1step back...ugh...this is sooo hard to watch her feelin so bad. :(.

No...going back in as soon as they open at 8am..they gave her more fluids today and more meds and pain meds...she is back to not eating or drinking again and still swollen

I wish she could be in a facility like a hospital where they could keep her on fluids and monitored for a few days. I imagine she's having an extra hard time due to her size. Take a deep breath, ask God to give you peace. I know it's so hard to do. If she is sleeping and no signs of distress, let her rest. If you need to talk, call me.

I am thinking of taking her to the vet specialty hospital where Rascal went up in Wilmington...it's a long ride but she could stay there day and nite...please pray that John will agree to it. They saved Rascal, maybe they can save Sass too.
