Hi, I'm Trixie! I love to play with my parents and my kids... I have a ton of energy and I love to chase my tail! I love being outside to play, but I'm not crazy about the cat that lives across the road...
I just joined my family a couple weeks ago and look forward to many happy years with them! My mom and Jillian have both tried to give me a walk on the leash but I guess I ended up walking them... that was fun!!

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

It was planned for us to get a dog, but getting Trixie wasn't planned. We had take our 2 year old to the SPCA to look at the dogs so we could see which dog would be the best one around our youngest. A man and his daughter were on their way out with Trixie and asked us if we were looking for a dog, we said we were and he went on to tell us that they had turned Trixie away because there was no more room for dogs there. They said that the only other place they could take her was another shelter in another county where she would have been put to sleep. My husband and I didn't want to see that happen to such an adorable dog, so we gladly said we'd take her. She has been with us ever since and we love her soooo much!!!
