Eddie Bear ( chow chow ) put to rest 21 Jul 08 after 12 years
of nothing but love.

I came as a stray and was treated like family. I think I love these people.

Was the arrival of your Pet Kid(s) planned or is there a story?

Norm showed up about four weeks befor the decision was made to put my buddy Eddie to sleep. For the first week or
so, Norm would only come into the house to eat, get ticks
pulled off of him, be feed , sleep a few hours and then would
leave when let outside. Within two weeks he was staying
gone for shorter and shorter periods of time. He got to know
Eddie and were friends. Now all he wants to do is be close to
me. Laying at my feet with his head sometimes on them.
I still morn for my former buddie but Norm seems to know when I need his comfort and darned if he doesn't put his
front paws on my lap and lean forward as is to hug. He sure
gets his wish.
